A next-generation fully electric bikeshare system
In collaboration with Serveo and the City of Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Lyft Urban Solutions has launched BicinRivas, a fully electric bikeshare system that replaces a previous service. This new solution reflects the city’s dedication to cleaner, smarter, and more efficient mobility.
BicinRivas features a modern fleet of ebikes supported by grid-connected smart charging stations, allowing bikes to recharge quickly and automatically while docked in stations. This eliminates the need for manual battery swapping, reducing the system’s operational footprint and ensuring bikes are always ready for use.
Riders will also benefit from Lyft Urban Solutions’ new mobile app, designed to streamline the bikeshare experience with easy bike location and unlocking features.
Designed for a future-ready city
As the fourth fully electric bikeshare system deployed by Lyft Urban Solutions in Spain, following launches in Madrid, Zaragoza, and Bilbao, BicinRivas is part of a broader ebike boom driving the electrification of bikeshare systems across the country.
It also marks Lyft Urban Solutions eighth bikeshare deployment in Spain, reinforcing our leadership in delivering innovative, sustainable micromobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern cities.
